CoverSport Exchange

The regulated marketplace for sports event contracts.

Every contract is fully collateralised and settles automatically on the result — 100% pre-funded, with no counterparty credit exposure. Buy Yes or No, cleared and settled in pounds sterling.

Licensed & regulated

Licensed by the Gibraltar Gambling Authority under the Prediction Market Regulations 2026, with client funds held as client money in segregated accounts with the Treasury Provider.

Continuous order book

Long and short orders match on price-time priority, on-screen, in real time. On the order book the Operator takes no position and quotes no price — the market sets it.

Combination Markets

Need size? Post a request and eligible counterparties respond with firm, executable quotes — a negotiated route to a price alongside the order book.

Instant book-entry settlement

Cash and book-entry move together through the Treasury Provider and the Central Depository System — no delivery risk, no settlement lag.

Market conduct enforced

A published Rulebook governs market abuse and sporting integrity, with real enforcement powers — suspension, financial penalty and referral to the Gibraltar Gambling Authority.

How Contracts Work

From order to settlement — every step is transparent and fully collateralised.
1
Place an order

Choose a market and outcome, set your price and volume. Your funds are ring-fenced into a segregated balance.

2
Match & clear

When a long order and a short order cross, the contract is issued and the collateral locks into the protected cell.

3
Trade or hold

Transfer the Yes or No interest on the secondary market before the event, or hold it to settlement.

4
Settle

On the result the cell pays the winning interest holder — the long holder if it resolved true, or the short holder if not — and is released.

Winners & Combinations

Two simple instruments: Winners that pay £100 if it happens, and Combinations that pay £100 only if every leg lands — all tradeable through the season and cash-settled on official results.
Disclosed issuer
Everything on this screen is issued by CoverSport Exchange PCC Ltd from the Programme cell. On this Programme the issuing cell is the disclosed counterparty to every contract; the order-book venues remain agency-only. Every contract is fully pre-funded — the issuer posts the balance to the cap into the cell at the moment of sale, so your claim is on segregated cash collateral, never on the issuer’s balance sheet. Contracts can be sold back to the market at the live mark at any time before settlement.

Combination Markets

Ask the market for a firm price on a single contract or a multi-leg combination, take competing quotes from the other side, and accept the one you want — cleared as a fully-collateralised contract through the same cell and ledger as the order book.

Submit a request

Choose the instrument and the side you want, set your size and an optional indicative price, then post it to the market. The other side quotes; you accept the price you like.

Build a combination

Bundle two or more legs into a single fully-collateralised contract. The combined price is the product of the legs; a market maker quotes and collateralises the other side, peer-to-peer with no house. Every leg must resolve Yes to pay out.

User Guide

How fully-collateralised event-linked contracts are traded, cleared and settled on the CoverSport Exchange prediction market — with a walkthrough of every screen.
Overview

A two-sided prediction market

CoverSport Exchange is a peer-to-peer prediction market for sport. Participants trade fully-collateralised event-linked contracts — each a simple Yes/No claim on a defined sporting outcome that pays a fixed £100 if it resolves true, and nothing if it does not — across football, motorsport and golf.
Yes — backs the outcome

Anyone who expects an outcome to happen buys Yes: they pay the market price for a contract that pays the full £100 if it resolves true. Fans, traders and sponsors hedging a real exposure all take this side.

FansTradersSponsors
→
Matching & Clearing
CoverSport Exchange

Yes orders are matched with No orders. Every contract is 100% pre-funded by both sides, held in a protected cell, and settled automatically on the event outcome.

←
No — lays the outcome

Anyone who expects an outcome not to happen buys No: they pay the complementary price for a contract that pays the full £100 if it resolves false. Traders and market-makers take this side.

TradersMarket-makersFunds
The Yes price and the No price always sum to the £100 contract value — fully transparent to every participant, with every contract 100% pre-funded into a cell before it exists, so no one is ever exposed beyond their stake.

Markets you can trade

The Home page shows a card for every live competition. The Primary and Secondary pages each carry a View Markets menu — choose a competition and the whole page repopulates with every contract in that market. New markets the operator creates appear automatically, each with a status badge showing whether it is open, scheduled (pre-open) or closed.

Full collateralisation & PCC cell solvency

Integrity

Every cleared contract is 100% pre-funded. The No counterparty’s collateral is locked in the protected cell at the point of clearing and held static until settlement, so the cell carries no counterparty credit exposure and cannot be over-exposed.

SupportsParticipant protection — settlements are always fully funded from protected cell assets.

Client-money segregation across the lifecycle

Client assets

Price and collateral are ring-fenced the moment an order is placed and remain segregated through clearing and into the cell — now itemised on each participant’s account as “reserved against open orders” versus “cell collateral in force.”

SupportsSegregation of client money and clear attribution of segregated assets.

Transparent clearing & settlement

Market integrity

A live order book with price-time priority, a pre-settlement payout preview, and deterministic settlement that pays the in-force interest holder and releases the cell — giving auditable, repeatable settlement finality.

SupportsOrderly markets, fair price formation and settlement finality.

Audit, reporting & reconciliation

Governance

A full back office: a clearing register, settlement records, cell-collateral report, funds reconciliation, per-account statements and a trade blotter — all date-filterable and exportable to CSV for inspection.

SupportsRecord-keeping, auditability and regulatory reporting obligations.

Conduct & player protection

Conduct

The marketplace is operated as a licensed digital asset business under the Prediction Market Regulations 2026, with all contracts cleared and settled in pounds sterling. Every participant self-certifies acceptance of the Rulebook and Terms at onboarding and is subject to AML/KYC and sanctions screening, with responsible-gambling controls — account limits and self-exclusion — available throughout. Each contract is a fully-collateralised, event-linked Yes/No claim, and is not a security, derivative or contract for differences.

SupportsConduct of business, AML/KYC and player protection under the prediction market licence.

Client money

Cash is held as client money in CoverSport Exchange's segregated Client Money Account with the Treasury Provider, in a segregated client account per participant. The operator credits or debits a participant's marketplace balance — mirroring a confirmed inbound payment to their client account (credit) or a payout from it (debit). The marketplace holds no money itself.
Member withdrawal requests
Member accounts · approve, credit & suspend
Once a member has funded their client account (minimum £5,000), approve & credit their marketplace balance with the funded amount. Suspend an account to halt trading — for example, while a withdrawal is processed.
Compliance casework & player protection
Customer due diligence (KYC), sanctions and PEP screening, suspicious-activity reporting to the GFIU (confidential — no tipping-off, Rule 13.5), and responsible-gambling self-exclusion. States are recorded against each member account with an audit log.
